.............. § aug.12.2008 i'm working on a series of 12 pictures to accompany summer love stories,one printed each week in the toronto globe & mail. .............. § aug.8.2008 i've finished a group of drawings called radiators.i've been playing with them for a year or so. .............. § aug.4.2008 picture making for me is a slightly laborious process of arranging information. chopping,editing gluing,painting ,rechopping etc.etc...ad nauseam. this is the latest incarnation of a picture that i call ship of fools. .............. § july 30.2008 i'm putting together a large wall piece for an exhibition in the fall,its called appetite. .............. § june 26.2008 my most recently cobbled together Onamental Breakdowns,im using black pigment markers to achieve an ultra dense black.i use to use printer toner straight out of the cartridge for this which was a very messy affair, seems that the markers can achieve the same light sucking effect without the mess. hallelulia! .............. § june 20.2008 i've just added some old images called "yellowcake" a series of pictures made at the turn of the millenium.
.............. § june 12.2008 DONATE TO THE SICHIUAN EARTHQUAKE RELIEF.AND GET THISletterpress printed poster. last year i was asked by blok design in mexico city to create a poster for their client emigre films in d.f. they used my picures in totally amazing ways for which i am grateful.this year they asked me to do another poster, this time it was printed letterpres by a great toronto printer called Anstey Book Binding i recieved final georgeously printed posters today, and would like to make 6 of them available .
